Curbside Pickup and Delivery FAQs

Do you have a retail shop and is it open to the public?

We have a food shop located at 357 St. Laurent Boulevard.  Our store hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.  Please note that we have social distancing protocols in place and the city of Ottawa has mandated wearing masks.

 

How do I arrange for curb-side pick-up?

When you are ready to check out you will be given a choice between curbside pick-up and delivery. When you choose curbside pick-up, you will be able to choose an available window that works best for you. Please keep in mind that some of our products need extra time to prepare and may not be available if you need same day pick-up.

We have curbside pick up available Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm and Saturday from 9:30am and 1:30pm.

What do I do when I arrive for my curbside pick-up?

We have curbside pick-up parking spots located under our black store awning.  Please park in a designated spot and call the phone number on the sign.  We will ask you for your name and the number of the parking spot you are located in.  Please have your trunk open and we will bring your order to your car.

 

What products may require advance orders?

Most of our products are available on demand but some require more preparation time in our kitchen. 

  • Cakes require 48 hours notice.
  • Our weekly fresh entrées are available as of 2pm on Monday.
  • Quiche – Orders placed after Thursday will be filled on Monday if no stock is available.

 

I would like my order delivered.  How do I arrange for delivery?  Do you have a minimum order for delivery?

When you check out you will be able to choose a delivery date that is convenient for you.  We delivery Tuesday through Thursday between 10:00am and 2:00pm.  Our minimum purchase for delivery is $40.00. Please note we have limited delivery slots each day and some products may not be available for next day delivery.

 

What is your delivery zone?  What if my neighbourhood is outside of your delivery zone?

We are currently delivering to limited neighbourhoods in Ottawa.  You will be asked to enter your postal code for delivery availability. Please call us directly for assistance with delivery outside of our zone.

 

What precautions are you taking during these times of COVID-19?

Our organization has undertaken steps to ensure we have a safe work environment for employees and food production.  All employees must complete a health questionnaire prior to starting work.  They also wear masks and work in their one physically distanced zone.  Handwashing and sanitizing hard surfaces are completed frequently.  We adhere to all Ottawa Public Health Guidelines.

 

What if I have food allergies?

We have listed all product ingredients along with the product descriptions.  Most of our products are labelled with ingredients.  We also include a quick reference for products that are dairy free (DF), gluten free (GF), vegetarian (V) or vegan (VG).  Cross contamination is a risk and we cannot guarantee our products don’t have trace amounts of other ingredients.

 

How do I reheat your food?

Many of our products have reheating instructions on their packaging. We also have available a printable document that includes reheating instructions and information on food safety. You can find the reheating instructions here.

 

Is your packaging sustainable?

All our food packaging is either compostable or recyclable.  Our entrees and side dishes are packaged in microwave and oven safe compostable containers.  Simply deposit into your green bin.  Our boxes and plastic containers are all recyclable.
